Dulcify Journal is a thoughtfully curated, annual publication that features creative conversations that champion Scotland’s food and coffee culture. It’s a beautifully printed, kitchen keepsake that sits at 140 pages (44 pages extra pages than our first issue) and consists of 21 pieces, featuring makers and creatives across Scotland. Nature, conversation and connection thread their way through the pages of this journal along with nods to Italy and Italian culture. There are community focused pieces - a stand-out piece of food-writing about a neighbourhood bakery in Glasgow, a coffee company that brew for good and a social enterprise making a different through the medium of chocolate. And then of course, there are all the pieces that centre around food, from pasta-makers to bakers to food-writers to food-photographers.
Issue 02 features:
Conversations with: Tàrmachan, Æmilia, Fodder and Farm, Great Glen Charcuterie, Zora Harris, Fiona Grant, Ben Mervis, Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters
Writers: Sophia Hembeck, Lucy Pattinson, Flora Manson and Cat Thomson
Spaces: Hillcrest, Mouse Cottage and Ballintaggart
Market gardeners: Little Trochry Farm, East Neuk Market Garden, Euan McIntyre
